However, the release schedule varies by country or region. Samsung has now revealed its One UI 8 release schedule for India, which may disappoint Galaxy S24 series users.

The One UI 8.0 update isn't a major update in terms of features compared to One UI 7.0. However, it still brings some important improvements, including a more secure version of Secure Folder and the new Samsung DeX that is based on Android 16's Desktop Mode. It also brings improvements to alarm, calendar entry, and reminders management.

The update also brings a redesigned version of Quick Share that is more intuitive to use and a more customizable Quick Panel. It also introduces a better menu design for the Samsung Internet web browser. Modes and Routines gets new actions and conditions.
