It's pretty much a given that most products you see from Samsung over the coming years, whether mobile or home appliance, will have some sprinkling of the AI fairy dust. Samsung has embraced AI for its home appliance lineup in a pretty big way, and its latest product is yet another novel idea.

The company today announced the launch of its Bespoke AI Water Purifier Countertop, a $1,000 product that it claims crushes its rivals at purifying your water.

Use Bixby to extract the right water quantity for your favorite ramen

The company claims that this water purifier can filter out 82 different types of harmful substances, more than any other water purifier available in the local market. It does that through a 4-stage filter system to remove harmful heavy metals, microplastics, etc.

The filtration system is NSF International-certified that's officially approved by the National Standards Association of the United States. It's equipped with a stainless steel direct water pipe that's resistant to corrosion. The purifier uses electrolysis to sterilize the water pipes once every three days to prevent microbial proliferation.

The water purifier can be controlled using Samsung's SmartThings app and through Bixby voice commands. For example, the software can alert you when the filter needs to be replaced. The app can also be used to set the output quantity and temperature. Setups can also be adjusted using Bixby voice commands, including for 38 different types of ramen recipes.

Samsung has only launched this product in South Korea right now but it's likely we may see it being made available in other markets across the globe. It's priced at 1.45 million won which is just a bit more than $1,000.
