One of the more exciting side effects of Samsung releasing One UI 7 earlier this year is that the company also redesigned many of its apps. Samsung Weather was among them, and Activity Forecast was one of the new information cards it received. Here's how it works.
The Activity Forecast card in Samsung Weather lets you see if the weather outside is and will be fit for your favorite outdoor activities over the next three hours. It defaults to the running activity, but it can be customized.
The Activity Forecast card is located right below the weekly forecast card in the main Samsung Weather screen. And you may not have noticed this, but you can swipe left and right on the card to switch between different outdoor activities.
The first card is for running, but you can also check out cycling and gardening by swiping left on the card.
Swiping to the rightmost card will give you access to a settings screen. By tapping the Settings button, you can enable and disable additional activities. There are seven in total.

Although the Activity Forecast card offers weather forecasts for seven activities, you can have only three activities selected at a time. You can choose from the following:
Lastly, if you want to get more activity forecast information, you can just tap the card. This will redirect you to The Weather Channel's webpage, where you can get a more detailed forecast.
All in all, this is a simple yet useful information panel in Samsung Weather, and it can help you plan out your next few hours around your favorite outdoor activities. Too bad it doesn't have a home screen widget.
