Samsung has opened the One UI 8 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in India. If you register your phone in the beta programme, you can install the One UI 8 beta update on it. However, the beta program seems to be full already, so you might not get a slot. The update has also been released for the Galaxy S24 series in India.
The Android 16-based One UI 8 beta update is now available for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in India. The update comes with firmware version F741BXXU2ZYH4 for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and F956BXXU2ZYH4 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 6 or the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and want to beta-test the new software, you need to install the Samsung Members app from the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Then, open the app, log into it using the same Samsung Account that is already logged into your phone, and tap the One UI 8 Beta Program banner on the app's home screen.
Once you've registered into the One UI 8 Beta Program, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your phone. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button. Your Galaxy Z Flip 6 or Galaxy Z Fold 6 will then restart after a few minutes, and then you can start using the beta version of One UI 8.0.
The One UI 8 beta update was released for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea and the UK yesterday. It could be released for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the USA today. Next month, the beta program will expand to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
