Fortunately, it appears that Samsung wants to make this process easier. The company is working on a tool for One UI 8.5 that would simplify the process for iPhone owners to transfer their eSIM to one of its phones.

Your new Galaxy phone will provide you with a separate option to transfer an eSIM from iPhone when setting up the device on One UI 8.5. Google has worked with Apple to make this process easier for devices running Android 16 and iOS 26. It allows for effortless transfer between iOS and Pixel phones with eSIMs from Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It's likely that Samsung's tool will also support these three major US carriers, alongside wider support for carriers in other regions that also offer eSIMs.
One UI 8.5 isn't set to arrive until next year. The new Galaxy S26 series will likely be the first to come with the firmware out of the box, with the rest of the eligible devices receiving the stable version not long after that.
