In September, Samsung’s upcoming version of One UI for Galaxy phones and tablets, One UI 8.5, leaked. It brought many user interface upgrades. Since then, the brand has been rolling out updates to its apps running on the new software, offering a new UI.

We have already discussed updates to the Calculator and Clock apps. Now, the company has released an update to the Voice Recorder app on One UI 8.5. It offers an all-new look.

Samsung is rolling out an update to the Voice Recorder app running on One UI 8.5. It offers an all-new user interface. The app’s home screen shows each recording as a card instead of showing it in a list in the previous version of the app. It also arranges recordings by year.

However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The real change comes to the recording and playback screens. Earlier, when recording audio, the app used to show a section for the audio waveform in the middle of the screen, with white or black portions at the top and bottom of the display, depending on the light or dark modes.

That’s not the case anymore. The app now shows white or black with a shade of red from the top to the bottom, and the audio waveform in the middle. It looks much more polished and appealing than before.
