Samsung's Unpacked event for the Galaxy S26 series is already expected to be a bit delayed this time around when compared to last year. This will certainly push the public release forward.
A new report claims that Samsung is going to officially release the Galaxy S26 series on March 11, after the Unpacked event takes place in the last week of February.
All of the rumors and reports so far have suggested that the Unpacked event for Samsung's next-generation flagship will take place in February. One report has even highlighted February 25, 2026 as the day Samsung unveils the Galaxy S26 series.
Once the lineup is announced, there will be a pre-order period after which the device will hit shelves. This will be the day by which the pre-ordered units are delivered, and the device is available for purchase in physical stores.
A report from a French publication claims that the Galaxy S26 lineup's release has been set for March 11, 2026 across Europe. Since Europe typically gets the new flagships on the same day as other markets, one can reasonably assume that this may also be when the device gets released in the United States and elsewhere.
Samsung hasn't officially confirmed either the Unpacked event date or the release date as yet. It's unlikely to, at least for a couple of weeks, so it's best to take this with a grain of salt right now, despite how plausible it may seem.
