Guys, there are 2 issues:
1. A brand new LCD replacement that bought from whoever (Like a Chinese supplier etc):
I experienced mostly white color LCD's that the Sensor did not work with the LCD's replacement parts.
2. Sensor - After replacing sensor flex (Same flex for Power button) - the sensor did not work.
See the photo, works great on black touch panel, for white conversion remove reflective sticker from the touch panel
If solution with black sticker did not work on an iPhone converted in white. the solution was to take a black marker a color the tiny window black at the rear (look picture) and it worked...
once colored with marker the light can still go through, you can check if you hold it up into the light.
