First of All You MUST Unlock BOOTLOADER n order to root this phone, please note this method is used only for Desire C
How to Unlock bootloader and root to be able to read unlock codes after?
Follow these simple steps:
- Power on your phone
- Enable USB develepement
- Connect usb cable
- Isntall driver located in Driver directory
- You need Unlock your bootloader in first step go to link : HTCdev - Unlock Bootloader
- Register in the site first then choose in combobox (All other suported models) and click begin "unlock bootloader"
- Go to step 8 in site then you will have to enter Identifier Token, for get this just enter to directory Root_HTC_Desire_C
- Click first_step: Phone must be connected and on, you will get data like that :
remove INFO from begin of each line :
- Copy this all this lines and put in step 8 in site and click submit
- Check your mail and you will recieve file : Unlock_code.bin,
- Copy to directory Root_HTC_Desire_C and click Second_step , in your phone message will show up click YES.
- now your phone have bootloader unlocked, click final step for finish root
PS. Root Files are uploaded in Support Area
