It's been a few weeks since Samsung started shipping the Galaxy S26 phones to customers across the globe. If you're one of the many who picked one up, there are some camera settings you should change to get the most of your new device's camera.

Our colleagues over at imeisource TV have put together a detailed video on all of the camera settings that you should change on the Galaxy S26 phones.

Samsung has built a lot of useful features in its Camera app. For example, you should enable the composition guide through the settings menu which adds both grid lines and level, allowing you to perfectly frame your photos as it scans the environment and helps you line up as per the rule of thirds.

Do enable the various features that Camera Assistant has to offer. Once downloaded, you should disable auto lens switching because otherwise the phone decides which of the rear cameras to use. It's best that you decide which camera to use because this feature tends to use the main camera in lower right, which isn't good enough if you intend to rely on zoom.
