Samsung is rolling out new software updates to its flagship phones with foldable displays from last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. These updates offer the December 2025 security patch, which fixes 57 security issues, making these devices more secure.
As usual, Samsung is rolling out the update first in its home country, South Korea. The new firmware for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 carries version F956NKSS2CYKE, and that for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 carries version F741NKSS2CYKE. The size of both updates is around 450MB.
To get the updates, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We expect Samsung to release the update in other regions in the next few days. When it does that, we will make the new firmware files available in our database.
Samsung is developing a new version of One UI for Galaxy phones and tablets, One UI 8.5. It offers a ton of visual changes, as well as many new features, giving devices eligible for it a fresh breath of life. You can check it out in our video below.
