Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The beta update has also been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. After launching the Galaxy S26 series, the South Korean firm appears to have increased the pace of One UI 8.5 development for its other phones.
The first One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 has been released in India, South Korea, and the UK. In South Korea, the update carries firmware version F766NKSU8ZZC5, while the firmware version for global markets is F766BXXU8ZZC5. The download size of the update is around 4,172.36MB, and it includes the February 2026 security patch instead of the March 2026 patch.

If you live in any of the countries above and want to install the One UI 8.5 beta update on your Galaxy Z Flip 7, you have to enrol your phone into the One UI 8.5 Beta Program. To do that, you have to install the Samsung Members app on your phone, log into it using the same Samsung Account you used to set up your phone. Then, find the One UI 8.5 Beta Program announcement banner in the app and tap on it and enrol your phone into it.
Once the update is available, you can install it by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. After the update is fully downloaded on the device, tap the Install now button. The installation process will start, and the phone will reboot after a few minutes.
