Samsung is expected to launch its next set of smartphones with foldable displays in July. Multiple reports suggest that it will have three devices: the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The brand has even teased the first one to have a super-slim design.

With only a month for the launch, the company is getting these devices certified by various authorities. To that end, Samsung has now gotten the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE certified from the United States of America’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Samsung gets Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE certified from the FCC

The FCC has certified a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-F761U. Going by Samsung’s convention for smartphone model numbers and previous reports, this is the carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE for the USA. The certification not only confirms the existence of the device but also suggests that the company may launch the phone very soon and that it is coming to the US.

Unfortunately, it does not reveal any features of the device. Fortunately, we have an idea about that, thanks to all the leaks and rumours. According to those, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be a slightly modified variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may feature a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate on the inside and a 3.4-inch AMOLED on the outside, Exynos 2400e chipset, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, Android 16-based One UI 8.0, a dual-camera setup at the rear with 50MP wide camera and 12MP ultra wide camera, a 10MP camera at the front, a 4,000mAh battery, and IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.
