Samsung is rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024). The new update doesn't bring any new features to the device but makes it more secure, as it brings the November 2025 security patch. The 2025 version of the watch could also get the update soon.

The new software update rolling out to the Galaxy Watch Ultra is now available in India and some other Asian countries. It comes bearing firmware version L705FXXU2BYK1 and has a download size of aroudn 176MB. It includes the November 2025 security patch that makes the wearable more secure.

If you live in India and have a Galaxy Watch Ultra, you should check for the new update on your device right now. You can do that by opening the Galaxy Wearable app, navigating to Watch settings > Watch software update, and tapping Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button to start the installation process. Your watch will then restart after a few minutes.

The update could be released in other markets, including Europe and North America, very soon.
