Last month, Samsung released the One UI 8 Watch (Wear OS 6) update to the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Back then, the brand made it available in many regions around the world, including the US. Well, the company is now rolling out the update in the country more widely.
The One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 6 series in the US is now available for devices running on T-Mobile and Verizon as well. The update for the 40mm model carries firmware version R935USQU1CYK2, and that for the 44mm model carries firmware version R945USQU1CYK2.

To update your Galaxy Watch 6 or Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with One UI 8 Watch, open the Wearable app on your smartphone and go to Watch Settings > Watch software update and tap Download and install.
