Samsung has released new software updates for its latest Fan Edition tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. They offer the January 2026 security patch, which fixes 55 security issues present in the previous version of the OS. It makes the two tablets more secure than before against security attacks.
At the moment, Samsung is rolling out the updates to the non-cellular and cellular variants of the two tablets in South Korea, which have model numbers SM-X520, SM-X526N, SM-X620, and SM-X626N. They come with firmware versions X520XXS6BZA3, X526NKOS6BZA4, X620XXS6BZA3, and X626NKOS6BZA3.
We expect Samsung to start offering it in other regions in the next few days. To update your Galaxy Tab S10 FE series tablet, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once Samsung releases these updates outside Korea, we will make the new firmware files available to download on our website.
Speaking of updates for the two tablets, they are eligible to get Samsung’s latest version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). It offers a cleaner, more modern-looking, and more customisable user interface, as well as many new features. You can check them out in our video below.
