Galaxy S25 gets another One UI 8.5 beta update

Samsung has released one more One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series. It is the seventh beta update since the company opened the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for its phones. Many people expected to see the stable update, as it has already debuted on the Galaxy S26 this week.

The One UI 8.5 Beta 7 update is now available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in South Korea. The update comes with firmware version ending ZZC7 and has a download size of 965.84MB. It includes the February 2026 security patch instead of the current month's security patch.

It brings a lot of bug fixes and stability improvements. You can check the full changelog below.

    • Improve the error that switches to a video call during a voice call.
    • Improve the error of not applying the GMS app colour palette in the work/Secure Folder.
    • Improve the visibility of the Gmail search input window in dark mode.
    • Improve the forced shutdown phenomenon while running a new project in the gallery.
    • Improve the failure to export private album photo in the gallery.
    • Improve the issue of not occurring Toast pop-up in the heat situation during the Dex connection.
    • Improve the phenomenon of adding a city list in the weather widget, and improve the one-time Wi-Fi recovery problem that occurs during MBSSID (Multiple BSSIO) support AP and Wi-Fi roaming scanning.
    • Improve the stuttering and freeze phenomenon that occurs when entering the unread message box of the Samsung app.
    • Improve the issue of not displaying notifications under certain conditions.
    • If you do not agree with Haiya in certain situations, the issue that ‘Huhu' cannot be used (KT only).

If you have a Galaxy S25 series phone enrolled in the One UI 8.5 beta program, you can check for the update on your device by navigating to Settings > Software update and then tapping Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button to initiate the installation process. The phone will restart after a few minutes.

It could be the latest beta update for the Galaxy S25 series, and Samsung could release the stable update soon.
