The Galaxy S26 isn't the only device Samsung is planning to launch early next year. The company will likely launch two wireless earbuds during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. They will be the Galaxy Buds 4 and the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and the information about their battery capacities has leaked.
The battery capacity of Samsung's upcoming wireless earbuds was spotted in One UI 8.5 code. Android Authority says each earbuds of the Galaxy Buds 4 has a 42mAh battery, while the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds pack a 57mAh battery each.
The Galaxy Buds 3 has a 48mAh battery, while the one inside the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has a 53mAh capacity battery. So, the Galaxy Buds 4 is getting a slight downgrade, while the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro is getting a slightly beefier battery in terms of raw capacity.
Whether or not the battery capacity actually makes a difference in actual battery life remains to be seen. A lot depends on the battery efficiency of the DAC, drivers, connectivity chips, and other electronic components inside the earbuds.
Based on recent leaks, the Galaxy Buds 4 series has a more refined design. The earbuds in the lineup still feature a stem, but it is flatter and thinner as compared to the Galaxy Buds 3 series, which has a stem with a triangular prism shape. The stem lacks Blade Lights.

The charging case of the Galaxy Buds 4 series will have a very different design. They open up while lying flat on a surface, somewhat similar to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The case also appears to have a dedicated phone locator button and a beeper/speaker. The beeper can be used to find the case when it is lost or misplaced.
