Samsung has announced the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, its latest Fan Edition wireless earbuds. They succeed last year's Galaxy Buds FE and bring all-round improvements, including design, audio quality, noise cancellation, and battery life.
The company says its new earbuds include most of the features from the pricier Galaxy Buds 3 series but come at a more affordable price. However, they are 50% pricier than the Galaxy Buds FE.

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE feature a stem-like design that Samsung debuted with the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro last year. Those stems make it easier to hold the earbuds, insert them into and remove them from the charging case, adjust the volume, and switch between audio modes. However, they lack the LED lights that are available on other Galaxy Buds 3 series earbuds.
Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 and 11mm audio drivers, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE promise crisper highs and deeper bass. They feature six microphones, featuring a better placement, for clearer audio during voice calls. Samsung even claims to use AI to isolate your voice during calls for clearer conversations. The earbuds have AAC, SBC, and SSC audio codecs.

The earbuds feature Enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to suppress outside noise by up to 32dB so that you can enjoy your music in peace. This is an improvement compared to the Galaxy Buds FE. When you want to keep track of things happening around you, you can activate the Ambient Mode that lets outside noise in.
The earbuds feature Auto Switch to automatically switch to a Galaxy device that you are actively using. The earbuds also feature Galaxy AI, allowing you to start playing a music playlist, translate conversations in real time via the Interpreter Mode, check your calendar or emails, or summon Gemini via the ‘Hey Google' hotword.

The charging case of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE has a dedicated pairing button to initiate the pairing mode for quick setup. It features a semi-transparent lid, a status LED light, and a USB Type-C charging port. The earbuds have an IP54 rating for dust and water splash resistance.
Each earbud has a 53mAh battery, while the charging case has a 515mAh battery. The battery life figures are listed below.
