Samsung's last Galaxy A7x smartphone is getting its final major OS upgrade. Galaxy A73 owners are being treated to the One UI 7.0 update, with the initial rollout kicking off on May 22. Select markets are currently receiving the rollout, but the company should expand it to more and more countries in the coming weeks.
To download the update, head into your phone's settings, navigate to the Software update menu, and tap Download and install. Alternatively, visit our firmware archive and download the latest firmware from there, then install it on the phone using a Windows PC.
As mentioned, this is the final major OS upgrade for the Galaxy A73. It might get an update to One UI 8.5 in the future, but that could take until next year to arrive. After that, it will strictly receive only security updates for around a year before Samsung ends all support.
