It's been a couple of weeks since Samsung opened up the One UI 8.5 beta program. The beta firmware has since been released for eligible devices in select countries, enabling users to get their hands on the latest software.

Our colleagues at imeisource's YouTube channel have launched a One UI 8.5 Feature Dive video series to provide you more in-depth coverage of the various new features, and the first video they've put together is on the Storage Share feature.

Samsung talked about the Storage Share feature in passing when the One UI 8.5 beta was introduced through a press release. As the name suggests, this feature lets you access the storage from one device on another device.

This feature will come in very handy for those who work using multiple devices. You can easily access files stored on your tablet through the phone or vice versa, for example. Both devices need to be signed into the same Samsung Account.

The Storage Share feature can be accessed through the Nearby Share menu on the device. It will display the devices that you can connect to, and once you tap through the various options, the files on the other device become accessible on the primary device through the file manager app.

Watch the full video below to learn more about how Storage Share actually works on One UI 8.5. Don't forget to subscribe to the imeisource YouTube Channel for more in-depth videos.
