The recent One UI 8.5 leak has made it abundantly clear that this is going to be a more meaty update compared to One UI 8.0. Juicy bits of information are trickling in about many of the new changes that Samsung will make in One UI 8.5.

Quick Share, one of the more useful features on Samsung Galaxy devices, is also up for a refresh and Samsung is giving it some cosmetic changes with the next firmware version.

Samsung gives Quick Share a fresh coat of paint on One UI 8.5

Quick Share will continue to work as it always has. A leak shows that Samsung is merely making cosmetic changes to the feature, giving it a fresh coat of paint so to speak.

Some visuals from this One UI 8.5 leak have been shared online which highlights the cosmetic changes that Samsung is making to this feature. It appears to have a more clean appearance and replaces the navigation bar with pill-shaped design elements, precisely in line with Samsung's refreshed design language for One UI.

The way information is presented will also be switched around a bit for ease of use, and to further simplify the process you need to go through in order to quickly share files with nearby devices. These are promising signs about One UI 8.5 being a more substantial update.

Expect more information to surface about One UI 8.5 and the various changes that Samsung intends to introduce with the firmware in the coming weeks.
