This past summer, Samsung USA expanded its Certified Re-Newed program to cover foldable phones for the first time. The first two devices to join the program were the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, and now, their sequels are also available.
Samsung USA now offers all the 2023 and 2024 foldable phones as Certified Re-Newed. The 2024 models are a bit pricier but still cost less than the latest-generation Galaxy Z7 flagships.
You can now buy the 256GB Certified Re-Newed Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the USA for $829 and $1,429, respectively.
For reference, heres what the 2023 Certified Re-Newed foldables cost, and how much you'll be paying if you choose to buy a brand-new 2025 Z7 model.
Of course, the 2025 foldables are superior to their predecessors in many areas, but these Certified Re-Newed phones are still an option if you want to pay less and experience Samsung's foldable display technology without spending top dollar.
And if you value the S Pen experience, the Certified Re-Newed Galaxy Z Fold 6 for $1,429 doesn't sound that bad. Then again, you'll have to pay an extra $99 for the infamous S Pen Case.
If you're tempted to leverage Samsung USA's Certified Re-Newed program to buy a cheaper foldable phone, remember that you can also trade-in your device for a discount. You can save up to $299 on the Fold 6 or Flip 6.
