Samsung's Fan Edition lineup has expanded over the years. Once limited to Galaxy S phones, Fan Edition devices are now a part of Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy Z lineups as well. Before the end of this year, Samsung could launch at least two more Fan Edition devices, including the Galaxy Buds 3 FE and the Galaxy S25 FE.

It appears that Galaxy Buds FE are getting an upgrade, as Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. Yes, the company seems to be jumping straight to the Buds 3 series, which is logical; it has been more than a couple of years since the Galaxy Buds 2 series was launched. The first image of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE was shared by Evan Blass on X.

As you can see in the image, above, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE share the same design language as the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. They now have stems, which feature a touch-sensitive area that can be used for adjusting the volume, switching between ANC and Ambient Sound modes, and controlling music playback.

Similar to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE also appear to feature silicone ear tips for noise isolation. And that is an improvement compared to the Galaxy Buds 3, which lack ear tips. The upcoming wireless earbuds could feature ANC and Ambient Modes, as the Buds FE also have those features.

Samsung could also equip the Galaxy Buds 3 FE with Galaxy AI features like Interpreter Mode for real-time language translation. We also expect them to feature some form of dust and water resistance, Gemini, Bixby, audio equaliser, Samsung Find integration, and Bluetooth v5.4 (with LE Audio).
