After launching the Galaxy Core Advance in South Korea earlier today, Samsung is following suit with another variant: The Galaxy Core LTE. As the name indicates, the Galaxy Core LTE features LTE connectivity. Samsung has stated that the device might be called the Galaxy Core 4G in a few regions. The device will be available in black and white color variants, and features a design that is similar to the original Galaxy Core.The Galaxy Core LTE comes with an LTE Category 4 modem that allows you to download at 150 Mbit/sec.
Other hardware details of the Galaxy Core LTE include a 4.5-inch qHD screen with a resolution of 960 x 540, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory along with a micro-SD slot to accommodate an additional 64 GB, 5MP camera with LED flash, autofocus and full-HD recording, a VGA shooter and a 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity is in the form of LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and NFC.
The device comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean in addition to a slew of Samsung utilities like S Voice, S Translator, S Beam, ChatON, Easy Mode, Easy Text and others. Samsung has mentioned that the device will be available across Europe as well as in Russia and a few countries in Asia.
