Here is a tutorial for the instaler unofficial firmware 1.018.01D Android Market on acer betouch e110

Install the firmware is pretty simple - it Requires no special skills! The flash looks like a normal installation of software on your PC.

About the firmware:
- Addition of the Android Market

- Root access (you can have full access to the whole system)

- Additional Programs: GMaps, super-user, Market, Gmail, Contacts -



First, download the following two files:

- The RUT (software to update the firmware): RUT_V1.2.1.exe

-
Firmware:Acer_E110_1.018.01D_EMEA_with_market_v1.zip


How do I install the new firmware:

WARNING: Your fully-charged battery Must Be Before you start handling.

1 - Download and install - RUT_V1.2.1.exe
2 - Launch RUT (there will be a shortcut RUT):



3 - Select the downloaded firmware (link above), after having unpacked the archive into a folder:


4 - Now you need to connect your smartphone to the PC to update the firmware:

a. disconnect the USB cable and remove the battery
b. Reposition Reposition Battery

c. Click Next in the window

d. When the message "USB Device Polling" appears, press the talk key and key-pad left circle, and keeping them pressed, connect the USB cable.

NOTE:USE WINDOWS XP FOR THIS FLASH.DIDINT WORK FOR ME ON WINDOWS 7

IF YOU GET A DEVICE NOT CONFIGURED ERROR " program writes in red "Dowload finished, Result = Device not configured (0x4000)."
Try installing the drivers from Acer beTouch E120, from acer support
